Map of Paris, a Piece of Parisian History
Toit de Paris created the Map of Paris, an empreinte, an impression, or imprint, on recycled zinc from the legendary Parisian Haussmann zinc rooftops installed under Napoleon III, that are in continual refurbishment and spread out over the 20 arrondissements, because in Paris every street corner is steeped in history, every building tells a unique story, and every district has its own charm.
Created in their Paris workshop, this enduring and emblematic symbol of Paris tells its story from the very top; what it's been through, where it all began, where the view is breathtaking. Created by screen printing an originally drawn map of Paris directly onto the zinc sheet, each piece of zinc used is unique and different, reflecting its exposure and the quality of the zinc, leaving subtle marks that tell its story.
The Empreinte Map of Paris is a work of art, a true imprint of the city, and a Parisian artifact to be cherished for generations.
Every purchase comes in a Presentation Box, which includes:
- your empreinte (size 20cm x 14cm)
- Presentation booklet
- A historical card for the year the zinc sheet was installed on a Paris rooftop
- A certificate of authenticity with the precise geographic coordinates of the zinc roof to pinpoint the exact location where it was discovered, as well as a QR code to view the exact location
- A wooden base support

Shipping Policy
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock when you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order using the original payment method.
2. Delivery LocationCurrently, items on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in the United States. Extra shipping charges apply to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.
3. Delivery TimeAn estimated delivery time will be provided once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Delivery time is five to fifteen business days from date of order.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within three business days of the date of your order. Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays.
Please note that we do not ship on weekends or US holidays.
4. Shipping CostsShipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed.
Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.
